The Bottlehouse

The Bottlehouse my be no more, but frontman Karl Obermeyer is currently in the studio with his new project Captital Sons. Capital Sons will be releasing a new album this fall...

(R.I.P. Bottlehouse...) Karl Obermeyer (songwriter, vocals, guitar) and Steve Dupuis (songwriter, guitar, vocals) reunited in the afterglow of their former band Tremorphlo and began writing songs together at a furious pace. Inspired by their love for honest and heartfelt songs, the duo immediately began recording demos which necessitated finding like-minded musicians to complete their sound. Obermeyer and Dupuis soon found musical partners in Emily Olson (songwriter, keys, guitar, vocals) Aaron Pruitt (bass) and Kirk Hall (drums). Since debuting at St. Paul's legendary Turf Club in late 2001, The Bottlehouse has written a catalog of extensively diverse material, and has been enjoying a growing admiration from audiences, peer musicians, and trade staff.
